A MOTORCYCLIST who died in a collision on the B6255 Ingleton to Hawes Road on August 15 has been named as 52-year-old Bingley man Stuart Clifford Reynolds.

Stuart’s family has thanked the members of the public who stopped to assist at the scene and have issued the following statement: "We would like to extend our thanks to all the people who stopped and assisted Stuart that day.

“He will be very sadly missed by all who knew and loved him.”

The collision occurred at about 11.55am on Saturday, August 15, and involved a silver-coloured Range Rover and a black Suzuki motorbike.

Mr Reynolds was riding in a group of five riders towards Ingleton at the time of the collision. Sadly he was pronounced dead at the scene.

North Yorkshire Police have been appealing for any witnesses to the collision or for anyone who has seen either vehicle immediately prior to the collision to come forward and contact them.

Mr Reynold's family has asked that their privacy is respected during this sad time.
