SKIPTON Building Society has scooped a national award for the seventh year running.
Skipton was again named Best National Building Society in the 2020 What Mortgage Awards following a four-month consumer voting campaign. Now in its 27th year, the What Mortgage Awards recognise and reward the very best businesses in the UK’s mortgage and associated personal finance markets.
David Cutter, Skipton Group Chief Executive, said: “I am delighted that for the seventh year running Skipton has been voted as the Best National Building Society in the What Mortgage awards. What makes this award especially satisfying for Skipton is that it was chosen by our customers.
“This really is an incredible achievement for the Society and is true recognition of the hard work our colleagues have put in over the past year to help more people into homes.”
Skipton is the UK’s fourth largest building society, with over one million customers.
