What an excellent letter by Robert Fort, of Burnsall (Craven Herald, June 18) about the invaders of Burnsall.
It is such a pity that such eloquence has to be used to describe the actions of these mindless morons invading our peace and quiet.
Unfortunately, I don't think that the suggestion of the CEO of the Yorkshire Dales National Park Authority to have vehicle-free days will have any effect at all. Until North Yorkshire gets its allocation of Boris' 20,000 new police staff (don't hold your breath, Burnsall) we might need to establish our own 'no-go' areas, backed up by a few hay bales and farmers' tractors, and get our politicians to establish punishments which will act as a deterrent.
