As one who believes passionately that our society should be moving towards a green economy, I was delighted to read that St Alkelda's Parish Church is to have solar panels installed. Oh that more would follow.
However, they will not be the first church to do so. Trinity Methodist Church, in Skipton, has had solar panels for several years.
Perhaps the Government should reintroduce incentives for such greening measures.
