A TOTAL of 23 people have now died at Airedale Hospital after testing positive for coronavirus, according to government figures released today.
NHS England said a further 765 people in England who tested positive for coronavirus have died, bringing the total number of confirmed reported deaths in hospitals in England to 7,248.
Patients were aged between 24 and 103 years old and 43 of the 765 patients (aged between 33 and 99 years old) had no known underlying health condition.
Their families have been informed.
The number of deaths confirmed in the North East and Yorkshire since yesterday is 92.
A total of 27 people who tested positive for the virus have died in Bradford Royal Infirmary.
Nationally, 887 more deaths have been announced, bringing the national total to 7,984.
