AS businesses look for new ways to operate safely during the ongoing coronavirus pandemic, one firm has adopted a virtual approach.
Dacre, Son & Hartley, which has 20 offices including Skipton, Keighley and Settle has launched its virtual valuation service. Homeowners use Facetime, and other software tools, to show the company’s property experts their homes. The firm has already been instructed on a number of sales for when the lockdown measures are relaxed.
Patrick McCutcheon, head of residential at Dacre, Son & Hartley, said: “The property market will inevitably feel the effect of the coronavirus, but we know from everything it’s faced in recent years, that the market is surprisingly resilient. Buyers will no doubt be prepared to act when the right opportunity presents itself.”
