RAIL lines between Keighley and Skipton have been reopened following a death on the line this morning.
British Transport Police confirmed that officers were called at 8.49am to Steeton and Silsden Station following a report of a casualty on the tracks.
A spokesman said: "Sadly, a person has been pronounced dead at the scene. The incident is not being treated as suspicious."
Train operator Northern put on replacement buses between the affected stations while the emergency services dealt with the incident.
The lines were reopened shortly before 12pm.
British Transport Police are expected to forward a report to the coroner in due course.
