Skipton Bridge Club players
SKIPTON Bridge Club recently welcomed a team from Settle to a friendly match which was a new venture for the club and proved popular.
The emphasis was on friendship with the visitors treated to home-made cakes at the half-way stage. Director Douglas Goode ensured the pace allowed time to chat. A win for the home team’s four pairs was a bonus and the club looks forward to a return match soon.
Also being planned is a match against Craven U3A. The club welcomes new members and visitors with a host system guaranteeing a partner. The club meets on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 6.45pm at St Andrew's Church Hall, Skipton. For more details ring Jesca on 07813 003635.
