A CONCERT is taking place in Giggleswick to raise money for Settle Area Refugee Support groups.
Titled “A selection of music for an autumn evening” the concert is taking place on Saturday, November 9, at Giggleswick’s St Alkelda’s Church.
It has been arranged by a group of musicians - Paul Fisher, Alison Marshall, Allan Evans and Duncan Lloyd.
Music has been specially selected for voice, clarinet and piano and is by a broad spectrum of composers including: Weber, Horovitz, Schumann, Ireland, Vaughan Williams, and Novello.
The concert starts at 7pm with the doors opening from 6.30pm.
Refreshments will be available at the interval and a collection will be made on exit for the refugee support groups.
