Entrance to Skipton Woods, Chapel Hill, Skipton
THE body of a man has been found in Skipton Woods this morning.
Police have confirmed the discovery which was made by a member of the public.
Police were contacted at 6.50am and emergency services attended the scene. The man was pronounced dead at the scene.
A spokesman for North Yorkshire Police said: "Enquiries are ongoing to determine the circumstances around the man's death which at this stage is not thought to be suspicious."
