AN HGV came off the road new Newby, on the A65, this morning.
The incident occurred around 9.55am with witnesses stating it seemed the trailer has detached from the tractor unit and rolled off the road.
Just before 12pm an HGV trailer incident incident recovery vehicle arrived with another tanker on its way to empty the tanker of its contents so recovery can start.
Three fire units, including one from Settle, attended, along with police.
There may be some delays as the work is completed.
