PLAYERS at Skipton Walking Football Club over 50s are now sporting two new football kits thanks to sponsorship from LBS Horticulture.
Chris McGrath, who runs the club, said they were grateful to the company.
“It will help the club advertise themselves and give the players a bit of pride as we play friendlies and tournaments.
“We started with six players and now have over 60 of all abilities, male and female.
Alistair Jowettt, purchasing manager from LBS Horticulture said: “Our business not only supplies products to hobby gardeners, landscape gardeners and farmers. Now we are proud to support and supply this club with these new kits.”
Lyn Inman, from LBS, who is also a player at the club added: “Its great cardio exercise. The sport has very specific rules that outlaw all running. It’s good fun with health benefits. We play at Sandylands Sports Centre.”
