AWARD-winning chef Paul Cunliffe has joined Alexander’s Bar and Restaurant, in Skipton, as its executive head chef.

Paul has enjoyed a varied career at some of the region’s most celebrated establishments, including several years as executive head chef at Harvey Nichols restaurant in Leeds and Andrew Pern’s Michelin award winning Star Inns.

Susannah Daley, owner of Alexander’s said: “I am thrilled to have Paul heading up the team. He has developed a new menu which offers something really special for the summer. It retains all those fabulous world tastes and experiences, along with some fresh, innovative ones. Another change is the addition of a series of set priced lunch and early evening menus which contain some classic dishes at a budget beating price point.”

Paul added: “My favourite place to dine is one that’s relaxed, fun and beautiful – that’s why joining Alexander’s really appealed to me. We also share the same ethos around food.”
