BIG top entertainment is taking place on Thursday night at Heslaker Farm, in Carleton, where the family is marking the 75th anniversary of farmer John Howard’s family farming locally.
The free entry event at Heslaker Farm is being called The Greatest Party and will raise money for Sue Ryder Manorlands Hospice.
There’ll be a big top with local entertainers, dancers, musicians, gymnasts and even an Elvis Presley lookalike.
A bar and food is also available.
Entry to the ground is completely free and includes a ride on the dodgems. Donations to the Hospice will be gratefully received on the day.
Mr Howard said: “It’s just my way of doing my bit to support a brilliant charity. “I’d been looking for a way to celebrate our anniversary and, with the fields all set up for the Yorkshire Dales Food & Drink Festival, it just seemed like a great idea.”
Free tickets are available but must be obtained from Eventbrite as places are limited. For more details go to: www.sueryder.org/thegreatestparty.
