THE driver of a lorry which ended up on its side in a field off the A65 near Austwick was not injured, police have said.
Emergency services including the police, ambulance and fire and rescue services attended the crash at around 12 noon yesterday.
A spokesman for North Yorkshire Police said traffic was able to navigate past the site and the driver organised his own recovery though road usesr have since said the vehicle is still in the field.
It is not yet known if the road will need to be closed while recovery is made.
