A FEMALE driver was taken to hospital following a single road traffic collision yesterday afternoon.
The incident occurred at around 3.23pm and involved a Hyundai 110.
Firefighters from Skipton, North Yorkshire Police and the ambulance service attended.
A spokesman for the police said the road was closed while the emergency services dealt with the incident and drivers were advised to avoid the area.
The woman, in her late seventies, is believed to have suffered serious but non-life threatening injuries.
