A SECOND burglary has been reported in Gargrave and police have made an appeal for witnesses and information.
The incident occurred at a house in Skipton Road between 9am and 5pm yesterday (Thursday).
A rock was used to smash a window to gain entry to the address after which an untidy search of the rooms inside was made.
A number of documents and miscellaneous items were taken.
North Yorkshire Police are requesting the public’s assistance to help establish the full circumstances surrounding the incident.
A spokesman said: "In particular, we are appealing for information about any suspicious people or vehicles seen in or around the area at the time.
"Offenders are believed to have crossed the cricket field next to the main A65 so may well have had a vehicle parked nearby."
