SKIPTON fire fighters have been tackling a fire in a shop in Water Street this morning, causing some disruption to commuters.
The fire is believed to have started from an electrical circuit board and the callout was made to the fire service at 7.23am.
Two fire engines attended and breathing apparatus and dry powder were used to prevent fire spread.
Police were present to manage the traffic along the street which was reduced to a single lane.
No one was injured.
