AN extended bus service to Hebden starts next week.
Upper Wharfedale Bus, which operates the 72B Upper Wharfedale Venturer service between Buckden and Grassington, will be extending the service starting on Monday, October 29, to twice daily.
This change will coincide with several other minor adjustments to timetables on the various 72 services.
The service is timed to connect with other services, both to Skipton and up the dale. It also complements the existing NYCC 74 service on the days which that runs.
Peter Vetch, a director of Upper Wharfedale Bus, said “Having successfully operated the Buckden to Grassington service for two and a half years, we are now seeking to further extend local bus services further down the dale. The service to and from Hebden was reduced in April 2016. Our our objective is to improve accessibility between Hebden and Grassington and beyond.
