A YOUNG Bradford amateur boxer is trying to make a positive impact in his community by beginning an academy.
Muhammad Ali, 17, is encouraging youngsters of all abilities to come down to Mary Magdalene Church on Wood Street in BD8.
The sessions are purely fitness based with no physical contact, so if you want to build your fitness by hitting bags, circuit training and skipping this is the class for you.
Muhammad is a big believer in helping young people with their mental health and hopes this new venture can be the catalyst for this.
The classes, which will also provide a stepping zone for aspiring boxers to local gyms, run at the church from 6.30pm to 7.30pm every Wednesday and only cost £2.50.
