THE Friends of Bradford Moor Park are hosting a clean-up and a family fun activity day this Sunday.
People are invited to head to Bradford Moor Park to help out and join in with free activities including football, karate, large outdoor games as well as a game of rounders.
The event will run between 1 and 3pm and will include a pond clean and litter-pick. All activities will be socially-distanced and supervised.
Organiser Naz Kosar said: “The Friends of Bradford Moor Park and local residents meet regularly to keep the park clean and tidy, and this Sunday we will be focusing on the pond, which has sadly not had a thorough clean for many years.
"We hope that by giving it a proper clean it will support the wildlife and make the pond even more enjoyable for park visitors.
"There will be something for everyone to help with, so whether you can spare 10 minutes or an hour please come along, meet new people and at the same time have some fun whilst enjoying the great outdoor green space.”
The Friends of Bradford Moor Park always welcome new volunteers. To find out more visit the Facebook page by searching ‘Friends of Bradford Moor Park’.
