NOMINATIONS are now open for a Telegraph & Argus competition which is aiming to celebrate local businesses.
People can vote in the Best Hair Salon Competition using an online link, with the winner receiving an engraved trophy and being featured in the T&A.
Nominations are open until 18 June, after which the top 20 salons will be revealed, with voting coupons then printed in the 24 and 25 June editions of the T&A.
Lauren Wood, Marketing Executive at Newsquest, said: "It will be great to have some healthy competition between salons across the district, and for them to get their names out there.
"They have drawn a short straw, in terms of only just being able to reopen fairly recently, so it will be nice for them to have this, after being shut for so long.
"I would like to thank everyone for participating, and I wish everyone good luck!"
