WALKERS who called the police after getting lost on Friday near Thruscross Reservoir, between Skipton and Harrogate, were helped to safety by the Upper Wharfedale Fell Rescue Association.
A spokesperson for the Grassington based UWFRA said: "The team were notified by the police of two walkers reporting themselves lost in the Thruscross reservoir area.
"The walkers were located by a controller using phone find and they were given direction to a nearby farm.
"A couple of team members local to the area went to the farm . From there they were able to return them to their vehicle."
