AN OTLEY company is helping to pioneer a new interactive product for the property market.

Openhouse Live is helping estate agents offer prospective house buyers a virtual tour of properties involving up to four people. Created by Boost3D, the technology - using real-time video chat inside a high-resolution, 3D Matterport tour - allows viewers to navigate around the house and ask questions as they would during a physical visit.

The company describes the product, which also includes the option to view multiple properties within each appointment, as ‘groundbreaking’.

Since launching just over a month ago Boost3D has secured customers from across the globe including Mexico, USA, Australia, Cayman Islands, Dubai, Germany, Denmark and the UK.

To help with the roll-out and expand their business product creators Keith McMahon and Mark Cuddy teamed up with another industry expert - Otley-based Apollo3D.

Boost3D Partner and Founder and Managing Director at Apollo3D, Mark Shepherd, said: “Keith and I have been working collaboratively for a while, sharing ideas and creating innovative solutions for clients.

“We discussed the live multi-user concept and straight away realised this was something that could be developed and really grab the attention of those in the property sector. Between us all we’ve collectively clocked up just over 100 years of experience in the technology industry, so linking up and expanding Boost3D was the obvious step to take.

“The challenges we’re currently facing globally have changed the face of the housing sector for the foreseeable future and we’re confident this product will help to inject some confidence back into the industry.”

Bramhope-based estate agents David Phillip recently signed up for the service. Managing Director Lesa Brown said: “Openhouse Live’s innovative functionality will significantly transform the way we interact with our customers.”
