A COLLECTION at the Tesco supermarket in Ilkley on Thursday, December 9 raised a fantastic £156.94 for Guide Dogs.
Along with volunteers from the Ilkley Guide Dogs supporter group, guide dogs in training Denning, Zia and Rufus were there to attract the shoppers into donating.
Andrew Barton, group coordinator of Ilkley Guide Dogs branch said:
“We are very grateful to Tesco for allowing us to collect there.
“The staff were most helpful and I think enjoyed seeing the guide dogs in training.
“The money raised is enough to support 32 working guide dogs for a day, so you can see that every little helps!”
