NINETEEN charities took part in a Grand Charity Christmas Fayre on Saturday at the Clarke Foley Centre in Ilkley.
The Fayre was opened by Ilkley Town Crier, Isabel Ashman whose rhyming declaration included the names of several charities taking part.
Marty Bear, the Martin House mascot delighted everyone by handing out Christmas gifts to children.
Ilkley Friends of Martin House organised the Fayre a spokesperson said: “We would like to thank the charities who took part and everyone who came along to support the event which was very well attended, and, thanks to a sponsor covering the costs of organising the event, all the money raised went to the charities.”
