CHARLOTTE Hawkins relaunched the Waste Not Minimal Waste Shop in Burley-in-Wharfedale on Saturday, November 23, 18 months after first opening in the village. The new shop on Main Street is bigger and has increased opening hours.

With the new space, Charlotte hopes to be able to stock a wider range of products including fruit, veg, bread and pastries.

As IPSOS Mori announce that voters are more concerned about the environment than any time in the past, Charlotte hopes that her shop will encourage and support local residents in cutting unnecessary waste out of their lives.

Waste Not stocks loose dry food that shoppers can take home in their own reusable containers, locally sourced, refillable cleaning and laundry products, sustainably produced, recycled products fr the home, gifts and beauty products.

Charlotte and her team also support Plastic Free Burley in Wharfedale, Refill Burley in Wharfedale and Climate Action Ilkley.
