NOMINATIONS are now open for the Otley Business Awards 2020.
A launch event for the annual competition, which is run in association with Otley Chamber of Trade, was held earlier this month. Sponsored by Waitrose and partners, the launch was held at Otley Parish Church.
Those attending learnt how to get their businesses involved and were given tips on how to encourage their customers to nominate them.
There are 11 award categories this year, all being sponsored by different Otley businesses.
They are: Best Newcomer, Best Micro Business, Best Large Business, Best Service Sector, Best Retail, Best Food and Drink, Best Café, Good Service Award, Best Community, Best Pub, and Lifetime Achievement Award.
Nomination forms can be filled online at www.otleychamber.co.uk or picked up from Otley Core, on Orchard Gate. The winners will be announced at the awards ceremony which will be held on the evening of Friday, March 20, 2020 at the Parish Church.
An Otley Business Awards spokesperson said: “The awards night is a way of celebrating the fantastic and wide-ranging independent businesses we have in our thriving market town.
“The 2020 ceremony will feature Stephanie Moon, Chef Consultant for All Things Food, as our guest motivational speaker for the evening.”
