THE 2019 Otley Victorian Fayre is fast approaching - and Otley Courthouse is holding a number of events to join in the fun.

The arts venue will be staging a Christmas-special Craft Fair from noon to 4.30pm on Victorian Fayre day - Sunday, December 1.

The event will feature all hand-made goods including lots of Christmas present ideas. Those browsing will be entertained by some seasonal tunes courtesy of the Sally’s Army choir, which will perform in the Courtroom from noon to 12.30pm and then from 1pm to 3.30pm.

Further music will be provided by the Otley Community Choir after 3pm and there will also be a tombola, while the Courthouse’s cafe will be open and selling mulled wine and mince pies.

The Courthouse will also be running special art workshops on the day where children, with some expert assistance, will design and make cards and Christmas decorations.

There will be a 1pm to 2pm slot for six to eight year olds, who should be accompanied by an adult, and a 3pm to 4pm workshop for eight to 12 year olds. Tickets cost £5 per child and can be booked in person, by calling (01943) 467466 or by visiting www.otleycourthouse.org.uk .
