ADDINGHAM Totally Locally together with Addingham Parish Council are hosting the annual Christmas Market on Saturday, November 23. Held in The Swan Carpark from 2.30pm it will include the turning on of the lights by Father Christmas and The Gala Queen at 4.30pm.

Businesses from the village are attending the outdoors, but under cover market selling their products and produce. Around 27 stalls set up to sell hot food and drink, cushions, lampshades, cards, homeware, liqueurs, cakes, recycled wooden decorations, fudge, knitwear, scents, mulled wine and many other various gifts for Christmas. Father Christmas will be attending for children to visit his grotto.

The raffle funds will go to the Green Heart of Addingham – a project to develop Addingham Primary School grounds as a resource for community use, habitat exploration, forest school and outdoor play. Tickets are on sale at Addingham Sandwich Shop and The Plastic Ball Co – both on Main Street. A spokesperson said: “This amazing event is totally local. Come and join our wonderful community spirit to begin the festive period. Fun and laughter to be had, with singing from the Addingham Singers and local band.”
