THE 23rd Grand Charity Christmas Fayre takes place on Saturday, November 30 from 10am to noon at the Clarke Foley Centre in Ilkley. Admission is free.
Organised by Ilkley Friends of Martin House, the special guest will be Marty Bear, the hospice’s mascot, who will be giving out free gifts to children.
There will be 17 charities taking part, selling Christmas gifts, cards, decorations, cakes and other festive goodies.
Thanks to the generosity of a sponsor in funding the event, all the money raised during the morning goes to charity.
Charities taking part are Amnesty International, Beamsley Project, Candlelighters, Clarke Foley Centre, Guide Dogs, Ilkley & District Good Neighbours, Ilkley Friends of Martin House, Ilkley Wharfedale Rotary Club, Let’s Sing Together, Lower Wharfedale Rescue Association, Marie Curie Cancer Care, Outside the Box, Riding for the Disabled, St John’s Church, Tia Rescue, Traidcraft.
