RESIDENTS who missed last year’s Otley talk by The Yorkshire Shepherdess can see her at another local venue next month.
Amanda Owen spoke about her busy life - running a 2,000 acre sheep hill farm while raising nine children with her husband, Clive - at Otley Parish Church in October, 2018.
The event was a sell-out and raised more than £3,500 for the Sue Ryder Wheatfields Hospice.
Now Amanda is preparing to return to the area to give another talk, once more in support of the hospice, and this time will be speaking at Pudsey Civic Hall.
The organisers say they have opted for the larger new venue to try to accommodate more people at what is expected to be another sell-out.
The event takes place from 7pm to 10pm on Thursday, December 5 and tickets cost £12.
Doors open at 6.30pm and there will be a licensed bar, refreshments, raffle and book signing.
Places can be booked by contacting the Wheatfields fundraising team on (0113) 203 3376, e-mail wheatfields.fundraising@sueryder.org .
