BETTYS Cafe in Ilkley is this year marking its centenary with a year of celebrations.
However, it is not the only Betty in town with a landmark birthday to celebrate in 2019.
Betty Normanton, a resident of Riverview Nursing Home also celebrated her 100th birthday on October 1.
Betty was joined by her family and staff for a party at the home in Stourton Road.
She received a card from Her Majesty The Queen which was deliver to her by therapy horse Taz.
Betty was crowned Queen of Riverview with her birthday tiara and said she still felt 18 years old.
Betty attributes her longevity to caring for her family which include her children - daughter Janet Anderson, 70, and son David Normanton, 73 - grandchildren and great grandchildren.
