MORE than 700 people attended Prince Henry’s Grammar School’s Open Evening.
Pupils from over 30 primary schools were joined by parents and carers for the event on Monday, October 7. The visitors enjoyed performances and demonstrations plus a presentation by Headteacher Janet Sheriff.
Activities on the night, designed to give a flavour of the school’s curriculum, included everything from explosive scientific experiments to language and cooking challenges.
Assistant Headteacher Christopher Lillington said: “Our annual open evening is a great chance for prospective students and their parents to see everything that is on offer at Prince Henry’s. It is always popular and this year was as busy as it ever has been - over 350 families enjoyed finding out about the fantastic opportunities we offer.”
The school’s Sixth Form Open Evening will take place on Thursday, November 7 from 6.30pm.
