OTLEY’S Buttercross Belles will hold free ‘taster’ sessions this month.
The women’s Morris dancing team is inviting anyone interested in joining to come along to St Joseph’s Primary School on Thursday, September 19 or Thursday, September 26.
Both sessions will run from 7.30pm to 9.30pm and are free to attend.
The Belles, who help the town usher in May Day each year, meet at St Joseph’s every Thursday during school time to practice.
A spokeswoman said: “Come and try some stepping and learn a dance - or you can join in the band.
“Musicians, men as well as women, are very welcome too. It’s great fun and fantastic exercise and you don’t need any previous experience.
“We enjoy dancing and playing music locally and at events further afield.” For more details contact Jaci Bowman by sending an e-mail to squire@buttercrossbelles.com or visit www.buttercrossbelles.com.
