A BRING Your Own Picnic day will be held on Otley Chevin next month.
The Friends of Chevin Forest have organised the event as part of Have a Field Day - a national celebration of parks and green spaces that is co-ordinated by Fields in Trust.
The picnic takes place on the grass beside The White House, on Johnny Lane, from 2pm to 4pm on Saturday, July 6. Light refreshments will be provided and a variety of family-friendly activities will be available.
A Friends of Chevin Forest spokesman said: “There will be fun family activities including a fantastic forest trail, history exhibit and having a go at drystone walling as well as some forest yoga for those who fancy a stretch in the trees.
“Come and have fun and find out more about the Chevin!”
