Julian Smith, Government Chief Whip and MP for Skipton and Ripon, joined the children for a question and answer session, before they made their way to the public gallery to watch the ‘House’ in session said:“This was an exceptionally insightful trip for the children and gave them an indication of how the British political system works. It was a truly unique experience which the children thought was brilliant.”
