THIS moody shot of Otley weir - complete with a hunting heron - was taken recently by resident John Morgan.
Mr Morgan, focused on the fast flowing river and the dramatically coloured sky, hadn't noticed the bird to begin with - and only spotted it after transferring the image to his computer.
