One of Stephen Griffiths' neighbours said today that other residents called him "Lizard Man" because he walked his reptiles on leads and had an "air of dangerousness" about him.
Security guard Glyn Tucker said he only ever had one long conversation with the loner in which he boasted about being in prison and said he was studying "killers".
