THERE has been a collision in Bingley this morning after a bus crashed into a garden amid the icy conditions.
Photos on social media show the aftermath of the bus smashing into a garden on Ferncliffe Road, near the junction with Kent Road.
One local resident who was at the scene said they saw a second collision happen shortly after, when a car also slid along the ice and then crashed into the rear of the bus, although they added that no one was injured in the incident.
The resident added that, just before 1.30pm, the bus had been pulled away from the garden, thanks to the use of a crane, but was still blocking the road.
The resident said: "We saw a car skid into the bus - the driver was turning into Kent Road and slid on the ice, before getting stuck under the bus, which had already crashed into the garden earlier.
"Luckily, the driver of the car was going at a slow speed - otherwise, they may have shoved the bus forward, closer to the house.
"It was scary, as I have lived in this area for so long.
"I wasn't sure that the car was going to stop - it could have been a lot worse.
"Police officers were at the scene, as was a recovery vehicle, but it was unable to move the bus, so a crane arrived to help".
