The Lord Mayor of Bradford helped a Ukrainian school in the city celebrate its 60th anniversary.
Councillor Khadim Hussain was among guests enjoying various events and activities at the Ukrainian School on Legrams Lane.
After the official opening of the celebrations by headteacher Maria Danylczuk, students past and present joined guests in looking at displays, photographs, videos and school memorabilia.
The school first opened its doors in November 1953 at its original premises of Claremont, Bradford, and in the 1960s had almost 300 students. In the 1980s, the school moved to its current premises on Legrams Lane.
It has enrolled more than 900 students in its 60 years in Bradford and still operates today, teaching the Ukrainian language, history, geography and culture to children aged up to 16.
