SUPERMARKET giant Morrisons is offering a helping hand to budding entrepreneurs.

The company has launched a scheme which gives fledgling businesses the chance to sell their products through all its stores – including the outlet at Worth Way, Keighley.

Under the Growing British Brands programme, businesses will also be given website listings, advice and promotional plans.

David Potts, for Morrisons, said: “There are thousands of people with great ideas but getting the product to market at scale is often a risky and complicated process.

“Morrisons started with just one shop over 100 years ago and is now one of Britain’s biggest retailers. We understand the entrepreneurial spirit and want to play our full part in helping the next generation of British brands. We hope this programme can provide the support and confidence for great brands with great products to lift their horizons.”
