A WARNING has been issued to motorists after a number plate was stolen from a vehicle in Keighley.
The rear plate was taken sometime between Wednesday and yesterday (May 5/6) from a vehicle parked in Emily Street.
West Yorkshire Police urges motorists to get their number plates fitted with tamper-proof screws and it is offering general advice to help protect your vehicle. A spokesman says: “Traditionally theft from motor vehicles has related to items left within a vehicle when it is unoccupied, but recently offenders have also stolen parts.”
