A COMPANY formed just a few months ago is going from strength to strength.

Will Twigg decided last August to pursue his business idea – and Simply Ventilation, based in Parkwood Street, was born.

“I had worked for a large acoustics manufacturer for almost nine years – selling noise control products across the north of England,” said Will.

“But I knew that I’d always wanted to work for myself and I hit a dead end a couple of years ago in my previous employment.

“I had a simple business idea – built around first-class customer service – and in August last year decided to make a move and pursue various opportunities.

“This led to me starting Simply Ventilation – a technical sales agency offering the same acoustics products that had become my bread and butter in addition to air handling and movement, air distribution and water-based heating and cooling products.

“I had built-up an extremely loyal customer base during nine years and felt the time was right to develop my own business from the ground up.

“My goal is to build a sustainable business which is resilient to the volatile construction industry – nothing fancy, nothing new, just giving customers exactly what they’re after with the focus on levels of customer service none of the competition can offer.”

The firm has already worked on a number of major healthcare, education, student accommodation, pharmaceutical and commercial projects across the UK and overseas.

Will added: “We recently launched Simply Ventilation Express, with a new route to market selling ancillary ventilation products – to trade and the public – to complement our existing products through manufacturing partners Allaway Acoustics, AHS, Colman and FloControl.

“We now have a unit and office and the ability to offer ventilation products same/next day, plus access to market-leading companies.

“Our business is built around UK manufacturing as we truly believe the best heating, ventilation and air conditioning products are made here – to this end the supply of products is sustainable after Brexit, and during Covid.

“We aim not only to provide a national offering, but also to build-up local clients across the Aire Valley.

“Having the ability to call on family members has played a big part in all of this.

“They have been nothing but supportive.”
