FIREFIGHTERS were called to the Keighley Farmfoods store in the early hours of the morning.
The alarm was raised at around 2am at store, which is in the Airedale Shopping Centre.
Watch Commander Mick Rhodes, from Keighley Fire Station, said there had been an electrical fault in a stack freezer, as the transformer had overheated.
Firefighters, who were at the scene for around an hour, isolated the electrics, moved the freezer outside and used fans to clear the building of smoke.
No lasting damage has been caused.
