MOTORISTS are being urged to be on their guard following a spate of thefts from vehicles across the district.
In a number of instances, vehicles have been left unlocked and items on display.
A West Yorkshire Police spokesman said: "Since the beginning of this year, there have been a number of reported thefts from motor vehicles within the Bradford district.
"These have been largely due to vehicles being left unlocked and valuable items within the vehicles.
"This is a completely preventable crime. Make sure you check the doors are locked before you leave your vehicle and do not leave any items within."
