KEIGHLEY’S Oxfam shop has reopened.

The Low Street outlet – and the charity’s other branches – had been closed due to the Covid-19 pandemic.

But customers are being welcomed again, with guidelines in place to help guard against the virus.

Shop bosses are delighted at the reopening.

And an appeal has been issued for new volunteers to join the team.

Shop manager, Hannah Doyle, said: “Christmas is so busy and it’s fantastic to be back in the shop with our wonderful volunteers.

“Our volunteers are at the core of everything we do at Oxfam and we would love some new people to join our Keighley team.

“Whether it’s to work behind the scenes or on the till, we’d love to hear from you!”

A wide range of volunteering roles is available.

Money raised through its shops supports Oxfam’s work fighting poverty and inequality around the world. Projects include enabling children to attend school and providing sanitation.
