KEIGHLEY groups and faith organisations could receive funding as part of a bid to boost blood and organ donation among Black, Asian and Minority Ethnic (BAME) communities.
NHS Blood and Transplant is seeking applications for a share of £600,000 from its Community Investment Scheme.
The money will support projects designed to increase awareness and understanding.
Currently there is a severe shortage of donors from BAME communities.
For more details and to apply for funding, visit nhsbt.nhs.uk/cis/ or email community.funding@nhsbt.nhs.uk. Applications close on December 2.
