KEIGHLEY Healthy Living has introduced a competitive aspect to its series of summer challenges.

Anyone who takes part in one of the health and fitness challenges will be entered into a prize draw to win a £50 shopping voucher.

The challenges through the school holidays include skipping, eating fruit and veg, training for a 5K run, birdspotting, and “writing down the good things”.

A KHL spokesman said the idea was that summer is as good a time as any to try something new.

She said: “Each week has something new to try that will improve your mental or physical health, above. We are posting lots of ideas and inspiration on how to take part on both our Facebook and Twitter accounts.

“Share your photo or video of you taking part in any of the weeks and you are automatically entered into our prize draw to win a £50 One4All voucher. The voucher can be spent in lots of high street shops including Argos, Marks and Spencer, Clarks and Currys.

People should share their photo on either Facebook or Twitter and include #KeighleySummerChallenges in the description, or alternatively they can email it to admin@khl.org.uk before September 5.

The winner will be drawn at random on September 7.
