PROPOSALS to convert a warehouse in a Keighley conservation area into housing have been approved by Bradford Council.
A planning application to turn a building off Croft House Lane in the Low Utley area into two, four-bedroom houses was submitted by P Ward in the spring.
The application has now been approved by planning officers.
The building was originally constructed as a barn, but was then used as a warehouse. It was identified as ‘retail/commercial’ in the 2008 Lower Utley Conservation Appraisal.
The application says there will be minimal changes to the building, and new features such as windows will match the style of other buildings in the area.
It adds: “The proposals have been sympathetically designed and scaled to integrate within its industrial village landscape.”
